Job Description
Responsible for helping teach, train, and evaluate technician performance
Responsible for performing and documenting repairs as completed while repairing the vehicle/coach
Responsibilities include detecting, diagnosing, and repairing defects on vehicles prior to sale and or customer vehicles.
Essential Job Functions
- Minimum of 5 years RV repair or experience in related fields
- RVIA Certifications Preferred
- Self-directed, needs little direction to complete the job successfully
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
- High skill level with use of AC/DC multimeters and ability to test continuity/resistance, voltage, current, frequency safely on dead as well as live circuits.
- Prefer to be able to complete a wide variety of vehicle repairs and services as well as brakes, suspension, and electrical repairs including diagnosing check engine light and engine trouble codes
- Must have manual dexterity in both arms and hands, lift and move up to 50lbs
- Perform multiple tasks in a fast paced and high energy environment
- Must read and transcribe data to maintain accurate records
- Possesses a high level of attention to detail and organization, and maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Ability to receive feedback on performance from Supervisor or Manager and keep them apprised of progress
- Successful communication and a willingness to train and help other associates
- Ability to climb and work safely at height
- Prolonged periods of crawling, bending, standing, stooping, and occasional climbing
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Experience
- Diagnose and repair slide outs and leveling jacks
- Solar and lithium installation
- Class A repair and service
- RV appliance repair including but not limited to : RV AC systems, water heaters, furnace, refrigerator, generator
- RV roof repair and replacement
- Complete high-quality plumbing and carpentry repairs as well as electrical diagnostics
- Experience in the mentoring and development of other technicians
Working Conditions:
Work in both office and outdoor environments, this may include working in a noisy environment as well as in inclement or adverse weather conditions
Wears professional, job appropriate attire at all times in the workplace
Follow all Stream RV, EPA, and OSHA standards including proper waste disposal in required areas and the use of personal protective equipment.
